Score 93/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, Nov 2012
(from a crop level of less than two tons per acre' picked on 10/26 in 2010): Good bright ruby-red. Sexy aromas of redcurrant, graphite, licorice, cocoa powder, mint and new oak. Broad, lush and sweet, with terrific concentration and subtle perfume to the very ripe dark fruit flavors. Textured, ripe wine with terrific finishing breadth and a nicely restrained sweetness.
