With an elegant label design, the organic Canneto 2017 Vino Nobile di Montepulciano shows some wear and tear from the hot vintage. The bouquet delivers dark fruit, black olive and scorched earth. There is a baked quality to the fruit that reminds us of the very hot summer season. The wine is rich in terms of mouthfeel and has moderate acidity. The blend is 90% Sangiovese, 5% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. Production is 40,000 bottles.
