Light red. Spicy, floral nose offers an energetic array of red fruit and mineral scents along with blood orange and rose. With air, cinnamon and clove notes emerge, adding complexity to the light but pure flavors of strawberry and redcurrant. Finishes with very good lift and cut, and no obvious tannins. This strikingly elegant wine, which was fermented with about a third of its stems, reminded me of a top Pernand-Vergelesses.
