Tasting notes
Incorporating a splash of Petit Verdot, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Dollarhide Estate Vineyard is another classic Cabernet in this lineup. Plenty of blackcurrants and plum fruits, medium to full-bodied richness, subtle oak and graphite nuances, and polished tannins all define this textbook 2017. It will benefit from a decant and drink well for 15 years or more.

The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Dollarhide Estate Vineyard has already been bottled. Medium to deep garnet-purple in color, it has pronounced notions of crème de cassis, plum preserves and blueberry compote with hints of dried herbs, tapenade, tree bark and new leather plus a waft of fungi. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is firm and chewy with a racy line lifting the baked black fruits and it finishes on an invigorating herbal note.
