Tasting notes
The 2020 Red Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon exhibits darker, firmer tannins, contributing to its full-bodied character and complex, mineral-driven profile. With a palate that is both food-friendly and endowed with a long, tannic finish, this wine offers a satisfying drinking experience that is still young but will govern for years to come. Made from a blend of vineyards, including 60% Klipsun, 30% Red Mountain and 10% Heart of the Hill, the wine aged for 21 months in 90% new French oak barrels, enhancing its depth and structure. Decanting is recommended. Only 300 cases were made.

Coming mostly from the Klipsun Vineyard, the 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon Red Mountain has a more red-fruited style (there are some black fruits as well) along with classic Red Mountain notes of crushed stone, dried flowers, and cedarwood. It's beautifully textured and offers full-bodied richness, ripe yet building tannins, and a great finish.
