Tasting notes
Medium ruby-purple colored, the 2015 Pinot Noir Doctor's Vineyard is scented of violets and roses over notions of kirsch, cranberry sauce and red plums plus a touch of spice box. Medium-bodied, soft, supple and spicy in the mouth, it has lovely plush tannins and lingering cinnamon and cloves notes on the finish.

The 2015 Pinot Noir Doctor's Vineyard comes from a site just off River Road (this defines the eastern board of the appellation), roughly in the middle of the appellation. Aged just under a year in 59% new French oak, its deep ruby/purple color is followed by notes of cassis, blueberries, spice-box and leafy herbs. More black fruit-driven (even some blue) with lots of fruit, it has bright acidity and building tannin on the finish. Give bottles a year or two to come together.
