Tasting notes
Lastly, the 2017 Cabernet Franc (which includes 1% Cabernet Sauvignon) is slightly more restrained and seamless (which can be common for Cabernet Franc) yet bas terrific notes of blue fruits, forest floor, violets, and dark chocolate. Nicely textured, medium to full-bodied, and elegant on the palate, with moderate tannins, it's ideal for drinking over the coming decade or so.

Deep garnet-purple in color and blended with a 1% splash of Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2017 Cabernet Franc has a slightly medicinal whiff over a core of blueberry pie, redcurrant jelly, raspberry preserves and sauteed herbs with a touch of underbrush. The medium to full-bodied palate is firm and chewy, accentuated by the rather lean in the mid-palate, and yet delivering a refreshing finish.
