Score 93/100 · Drink 2019-2033, Lisa Perrotti-Brown MW, Wine Advocate, Jan 2019
Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Solo gives up notions of baked plums, cassis, blueberry compote and camphor with hints of unsmoked cigars and dusty soil. The palate is medium-bodied, soft and juicy with loads of earthy/mineral-inspired layers and a long, savory finish.

The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Solo is soft, forward and fruity. Drink this straightforward, plummy Cabernet Sauvignon over the next handful of years. Stylistically, the Solo is very much on the lighter side of things for Stags Leap.
