Tasting notes
All Chardonnay that never goes through malolactic fermentation, brought up mostly in used barrels, the 2018 Chardonnay offers a light gold color as well as attractive melon and orange blossom-like fruits as well as a medium-bodied, round, enjoyable style on the palate. It's well-made, nicely balanced, and easy-drinking.

The 2018 Chardonnay is super-expressive and nuanced. Lemon oil, mint, lemon peel, sage, and grilled herbs add savory character to this super-expressive, highly nuanced Chardonnay that finishes with pretty tropical notes that add a bit of flair. The 2018 is a wine of tremendous class and personality - I loved it. This is a gorgeous and super-distinctive wine. Sadly there are just four barrels to go around.
The 2018 Chardonnay was barrel fermented in French oak and aged nine months on the lees in 10% new oak with minimal malolactic. It gives up bold, expressive notes of ripe Bosc pears, white peaches and Golden Delicious apples with touches of allspice, cashews and fresh hay. Medium to full-bodied, the palate has a lovely creamy texture and oodles of freshness, finishing long and spicy. 300 cases produced.
