The 2019 Fundamental Cabernet Sauvignon comes partly from Paso Robles and partly from Santa Barbara County and offers tremendous quality for the price. Deep ruby-purple, it has rich cassis fruit on the nose with notes of vanilla, forest floor and dark spice. The full-bodied palate is richly fruited but not over the top, with a soft, juicy feel and a spicy finish.

The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon is fabulous. Inky and voluptuous, the 2019 hits the palate with blackberry jam, chocolate, licorice and spice. I can't think of a California Cabernet that delivers this much quality for the money. Black cherry fruit, tobacco, cedar abound in this dense and creamy 100% Cabernet Sauvignon.
Another killer value, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon (100% Cabernet) sports a deep purple color as well as classic notes of blackcurrants, red plums, tobacco leaf, and Asian spices. This ripe, fleshy, medium to full-bodied red has ripe tannins, rock-solid overall balance, and a great finish. It's another no brainer house red to enjoy over the coming 3-5 years. Value and over-delivering are the name of the game with these Fundamental Wines, which are made by Joey Tensley. While these aren’t huge production wines, quantities are such that you should be able to find them in the market. They’re well worth tracking down, and at these prices, they’ll make awesome weekly drinkers.
