(raised in 45% new oak and the rest in one-year-old barrels): Bright ruby-red. Lively red fruit and floral aromas, along with an Asian spice topnote. Sappy raspberry and cherry-vanilla flavors show very good energy and pick up a smoky quality with air. Finishes spicy and long, with lingering rose and allspice qualities.
