Bright medium ruby-red. Redcurrant, chocolate and a faint whiff of nut skin on the nose. Supple, easygoing cabernet in a somewhat chunky style, with sweet red fruit flavors dominating. Could use more nuance and refinement, but there's good material here.

The 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon D’Adamo Vineyard (also 100% Cabernet Sauvignon) is a slightly larger cuvee of just over 1,000 cases. Revealing more smoky, roasted herb, toasty oak, coffee bean, chocolate, black currant, and black cherry characteristics, this deep, full-bodied wine is slightly more supple with less minerality than its sibling, so it can be drunk now as well as over the next 15+ years.
