2015 Prager Grüner Veltliner Wachstum Bodenstein Smaragd

The golden-colored 2015 Grüner Veltliner Smaragd Wachstum Bodenstein comes from a warmer year and displays a deep and flinty bouquet with concentrated fruit aromas that are similarly ripe and rich as the 2017 but finer and more elegant. On the palate, this is a rich and round but elegant and crystalline Veltliner, with a powerful and rather sweetish, long, well-structured and mineral-vital finish. This is a great, rather opulent wine that will develop extremely well over decades. Tasted in Weissenkirchen/Wachau in September 2019.
