The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Oliver Ranch Vineyard is made of 89% Cabernet Sauvignon and 11% Cabernet Franc aged 22 months in 50% new oak. Medium to deep ruby-purple, it offers aromas of dark chocolate, Morello cherries, black plum, vanilla pod, Indian spices, beef drippings, rosemary, wilted roses and cassis with red fruit hints. The medium to full-bodied palate explodes with youthfully dense, rich flavor layers with a classy framing of new oak. It's plushly textured by melt-in-your-mouth tannins and lifted by fantastic freshness, finishing long and layered. Give this plenty more time in bottle and enjoy it over the next 15 to 20+ years. 200 cases were made.

A very striking fusion of blackberries and black cherries with some leafy, terra cotta and sappy elements here. The palate has such rich, dark-fruit flavors, infused with dark chocolate and very silky, smoothly delivered, lush tannins. A blend of 89% cabernet sauvignon and 11% cabernet franc. Drink or hold.

It has a deep purple color as well as a complex nose of red and black currants, leafy herbs, menthol, and cedary spice. It's another rich, dense, chewy wine from this estate that offers a mouth-filling, powerful, pleasure-bent style.
