Score 90/100 · Robert Parker, Dec 2013

Another winner, the 2011 Pinot Noir Great Oak Vineyard reveals more candied cherry notes (suggesting the Cote de Beaune), along with a medium ruby color that belies the wine’s richness and expansiveness on the palate – the beauty of Pinot Noir. Forest floor and earthy undertones are also present as well as a savory, round, generous mouthfeel. By the way, all these Pinot Noirs are made from their own clonal material known as the Swan clone. www.swanwinery.com
