Tasting notes
Vivid red. Assertive red berry and incense aromas, along with suggestions of exotic spices, savory herbs and smoky minerals. Sharply focused and racy on entry, then fleshier on the mid-palate, offering vibrant raspberry and bitter cherry flavors that gain sweetness with air. Quite lithe for a warm vintage, with an echo of juicy red fruit lingering the impressively persistent, gently tannic finish.

Some earthy and toasty threads to this youthful, red-fruited pinot. The palate has a very smooth, fleshy array of fine, vibrant red cherries in attractive, open-knit style. Drink now.
The 2016 Pinot Noir Reserve is pale to medium ruby-purple with a wonderful open nose of warm cinnamon and cardamom over crisp red and black berries and cherries aromas. Light to medium-bodied, it offers fresh black and red fruit character in the mouth with a strong vein of crushed rock minerality and spicy accents, fine-grained tannins and juicy freshness, finishing long and minerally.
