Slightly hazy appearance. Highly expressive aromas of orange blossom, baked apple, nectarine and sweet brown spices. Spicy and quite dry, with lively flavors of pineapple, apple and lemon peel. Patz & Hall share this block with Marcassin, according to Hall.

Made from a French Dijon clone, the 2003 Chardonnay Zio Tony Ranch possesses distinctive lychee, honeysuckle, and nectarine characteristics along with crisp acidity, copious fruit, and a medium to full-bodied, nicely layered, well-delineated finish. It is best consumed during its first 2-3 years of life. Tel. (707) 265-7700; Fax (707) 265-7708
