The 2001 Pinot Noir Sevens Bench Vineyard offers aromas of sweet apple skins and raspberries in its elegant, mid-weight, attractive personality. Still tightly wound, it requires 1-2 years of cellaring; it should last for 5-6 years. (Release date Summer 04) Tel. (800) 588-0234; Fax (800) 600-5895

Medium red. Aromas of red fruits and baking spices, with hints of menthol, smoked meat and earth. Silky, suave and sweet; a bit fleshier than the Sonoma Coast bottling, with a flavor of raspberry. Nicely dry pinot, finishing with fine tannins and a minty nuance.
