Inky ruby. Potent scents of ripe black and blue fruits, vanilla and peppery spices take on a suave floral nuance in the glass. Spice-laced black currant and bitter cherry flavors unfurl slowly and show excellent clarity and lift. Supple, even tannins build slowly on the finish, which hangs on with outstanding tenacity and resonating spiciness.

L’Aventure is one of the leading wine estates in Paso Robles, California. It was founded by Stephan Asseo and his wife Beatrice who left their native France in 1997 in search of a place to make wine without the restrictions of France’s appellation system.
