Tasting notes
Made with 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Turf War Bisagno Vineyard is medium to deep garnet-purple colored and sashays out of the glass with fragrant scents of kirsch, blackcurrant pastilles and black plums with hints of camphor and pencil lead. Medium-bodied, the palate is soft and juicy with a refreshing line and a minty lift on the finish. 24 cases were made.

The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Turf War emerges from the Bisagno vineyard in St. Helena's Northern Corridor. Lithe, perfumed and medium in body, the 2018 is all grace. It is the most floral and gracious of the Cabernets in Aaron Pott's range. Production is tiny, just one barrel to go around.
The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Turf War is unctuous, deep and powerful, but also still coming together in barrel following a malolactic fermentation that was protracted.
