Brilliant red. A highly complex bouquet evokes ripe red fruits, exotic spices, potpourri and musky herbs, and a smoky mineral quality adds urgency. Sweet, seamless and penetrating on the palate, offering concentrated raspberry, cherry, licorice, rose pastille and spicecake flavors complemented by an undercurrent of juicy acidity. Delivers a compelling blend of power and finesse, with smooth tannins framing lingering red fruit and floral notes on an extremely long, focused finish. (raised in 25% new French oak for 16 months)
