2018 Lingua Franca Pinot Noir Petit Géant

Dark magenta. Intensely perfumed red and blue fruit and floral scents pick up exotic spice, blood orange and smoky mineral notes as the wine opens up. At once concentrated and lithe in character, offering sappy Chambord, mulberry, fruitcake and floral pastille flavors that deepen through the midpalate. The blue fruit and floral qualities drive a long, smooth, finely etched finish framed by slowly building tannins.
