Tasting notes
Glistening yellow. Pear nectar, tangerine and white peach on the nose, with building vanilla, candied ginger and smoky lees nuances adding complexity. Juicy, seamless and expansive in the mouth, offering concentrated orchard and pit fruit flavors that show fine definition and become spicier with aeration. The mineral and floral qualities come back strong on an impressively persistent, seamless finish that leaves fennel and buttered toast note behind. 45% new French oak.

This has a rich array of peaches and apricots with hints of pineapple and a subtly savory, fresh-hazelnut thread to the nose. The palate has a very plush and supple feel with a bright array of lemon, lime and apricot flavors, ahead of a lightly toasty, grilled-hazelnut and subtle, marmalade edge at the finish. Drink now.
The 2016 Chardonnay Clos du Soleil Vineyard has a bright nose of baked red apples and honey-drizzled yellow pears with hints of baby's breath flowers and toast plus a streak of crushed rock minerality. Medium to full-bodied and creamy textured in the mouth, it gives flavors of lemon confit, toast and acacia honey over a core of yellow tree fruits with plenty of freshness, finishing long.
