A single plot of old vines within the Seven Springs vineyard. All whole bunch. Pure and delicate – red fruits at first and becoming more smoky and savoury on the long finish. Extremely fine tannins. An elegant whole that should age well despite its lightness of being. It's surprising how little the oak shows (I believe it is new). (JH)

The 2016 Pinot Noir Anden Seven Springs Vineyard is pale to medium ruby-purple and opens with herbal raspberry leaf notes with touches of cracked black pepper, sliced prosciutto and bramble berry. Medium to full-bodied, it gives crisp black fruits in the mouth with a good frame of grainy tannins and plenty of freshness, finishing with peppery/herbal accents. 159 cases produced.
