2019 Bevan Cabernet Sauvignon Saunders Vineyard

Bevan's 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Saunders Vineyard comes from another eastside Oakville site, a steep, rocky vineyard at around 600 feet above sea level. It comes across as a bit lighter and brighter than Bevan's other offerings from this neighborhood, with more redcurrant fruit and hints of cocoa, dusty earth and licorice. It's medium to full-bodied, making it deceptively easy to drink, despite the wash of dusty tannins on the long finish.
