Score 96/100 · Drink 2019, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Sep 2013
The 2011 Montrachet is impeccable, gorgeous and beautifully woven together. All of the hallmarks of Puligny come through in an exceptionally polished, refined Burgundy of incomparable grace. The 2011 is relatively weightless and super-refined, but at the same time, there is plenty of underlying structure. It will be interesting to see if the 2011 fills out over time, or if it remains a bit laid back.
