Score 91/100 · Drink 2009-2014, Robert Parker, Dec 2009
From a vineyard planted in the 1880s, the 2007 Zinfandel Old Crane Ranch reveals a big, projected nose of blue and red fruits, lots of spice as well as a full-bodied, generous mouthfeel. With its lush texture, and a powerful yet velvety finish, it is a hedonist’s delight, and can be enjoyed over the next 4-5 years. This is a beautiful portfolio of wines from Robert Biale Vineyards. The Stagecoach Vineyard is a large parcel nearly 500 acres on the hillsides above Oakville. Tel. (707) 257-7555
