Score 89/100 · Drink 2020-2028, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Dec 2018
Adler Deutsch's 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon is powerful, dense and explosive. Super-ripe red cherry fruit, and hard candy are all pushed forward. This is an especially flamboyant, racy wine. The tannins are a bit grainy, especially next to the 2016 tasted alongside it, but that is one of the signatures of 2015.

The 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon is blended of 79% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Petit Verdot and 1% Cabernet Franc. Medium to deep garnet-purple colored, it opens with crème de cassis, baked plums and raisin cake with hints of balsamic and wood smoke. Full-bodied, rich and plush, the palate gives layers of spicy black fruits with a long, earthy finish. 150 cases produced.
