Tasting notes
Deep ruby-purple, the 2016 Syrah Rosella's Vineyard offers cassis, Morello cherries, pencil shavings, milk chocolate, bay leaves and floral perfume on the nose. The full-bodied palate offers intense but lifted fruits, a firm, grainy frame and just enough freshness to carry the long finish.

There are three Syrahs, all outstanding. The 2016 Syrah Rosella's Vineyard has the most cool-climate vibe and offers up lots of peppery herbs, olive, peach pit, and bacon fat notes. It has terrific fruit, medium body, beautiful acidity, and a great finish.
Dark purple. A highly perfumed bouquet evokes black and blue fruits, incense and pungent flowers, and smoky mineral, vanilla and licorice nuances add complexity. Stains the palate with appealingly sweet blueberry, cherry and floral pastille flavors that are given lift and bite by zesty acidity and a jolt of cracked pepper. Finishes on a youthfully tannic note, showing strong, spicy lift and floral-tinged persistence.
