Tasting notes
I loved the 2015 Pinot Noir King Ridge Vineyard, a rich, serious effort that has terrific freshness and focus. Blackberries, blackberries, scorched earth, and toasted spice notes all emerge from the glass. With high yet nicely integrated acidity, fine tannin, and a great finish, it's an outstanding Pinot Noir from the cooler Fort Ross-Seaview AVA that's going to benefit from a year or two of bottle age and drink nicely for at least 7-8 years.

The 2015 Pinot Noir King Ridge Vineyard is medium ruby-purple in color with notes of cranberry sauce, red currants and raspberry leaves with touches of forest floor, black truffles and powdered cinnamon. Medium to full-bodied and packed with spicy red berry preserves layers, it has a velvety texture and a long, perfumed finish. 168 cases were made.
