2014 K Vintners Cabernet Sauvignon The Creator

An 80/20 Cabernet Sauvignon Syrah blend from the Powerline Vineyard, the 2014 The Creator is killer stuff. Cassis, black olive, crushed rock, dusty earth and graphite characteristics emerge from this wild, gamey, full-bodied and impeccably balanced red. It stays lightly textured and graceful, with fine tannin, but it's a big, rich wine that's going to benefit from short term cellaring and keep for 15-20 years.
