Score 92-94/100 · Drink 2028-2045, Joe Czerwinski, Wine Advocate, Feb 2025
Jericho Canyon's 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve had yet to be bottled when I tasted it in November 2024, but it was the most promising of the wines presented. Marked by scents of cassis, sage and dusty earth, it's full-bodied, ripe and fruity, expansive on the mid-palate but tannic and chewy on the long finish. It appears to merit plenty of time in the cellar.

The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve sports a vivid purple hue as well as powerful aromatics of pure cassis and blue fruits, liquid violets, crushed stone, and lead pencil. It's another rich, full-bodied, concentrated wine in the lineup offering beautiful purity, fine yet building tannins, and a great finish.
