2014 Bench Vineyards Circa 64

The 2014 Proprietary Red Circa 64 is an interesting blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon and the rest equal parts Petit Verdot and Malbec. The wine is elegant and representative of the Stags Leap District with a dense ruby/purple color, sweet blackcurrant fruit with flowers, attractive, medium-bodied, with an air of finesse in its personality and a nice, long finish. This is a restrained and elegant take on Napa and it has been pulled off successfully. Drink it over the next 7-8 years.
