Good deep red. Discreet aromas of wild red berries, spices and flowers; smells austere. Peppery and imploded on the nose; in a distinctly clenched phase and hiding its flesh and sweetness today. Finishes with firm tannins, a saline quality and a slight dryness. From vines around 25 years of age.
