Full bottle 1,644 g. This proved to be an irresistibly food-friendly wine! We opened it to look at food-wine pie pairings for Thanksgiving and it was an unexpectedly good pairing (the best of all, in fact) with steak and Stilton pie, but also really good with Melton Mowbray pork pie and spicy, hearty Jamaican patties. There is a really good balance of dosage and acidity here, uplifting the wine's fruitiness. It’s strawberry sweet, playful, charming, and very much trying to appeal. Buckets and buckets of fresh fruit. The acidity is a little sherbet, a little central-core fizzy. Chalky texture. Pretty and vibrant. (TC)
