Good deep red. Raspberry aroma lifted by exotic clove and flowers. Juicy, sappy and tangy, with penetrating flavors of sweet red berries and pepper. This, too, is quite dry in a positive way, and bright on the back end. Very Sonoma Coast in character. Also tasted: 2003 Pinot Noir Moon Select Sonoma Coast.

The spicy, earthy 2003 Pinot Noir Camp Meeting Ridge offers up hints of cinnamon, herbs, and new oak. In the mouth, notions of sassafras, plums, cherries, and allspice emerge. Medium-bodied with an adequate finish, it can be enjoyed over the next 4-5 years. Tel. (707) 847-3661; Fax (707) 847-3740
