Good, crisp minerality, a touch of mandarin orange, medium to full body, a judicious use of oak, and a relatively good finish make for a tasty, well-made 2013 Chardonnay that is capable of lasting another 2-3 years.

The 2013 Chardonnay is quite pretty. Lemon peel, spices, butter, wild flowers and Chamomile are all laced together in the glass. Partial blocking of the malolactic fermentation keeps the flavors bright, focused and vibrant. The Chardonnay is made from purchased fruit sourced from sites in Atlas Peak and Oak Knoll.
