The 2015 Amulet is plush, dark and inviting. Black cherry, mocha, plum, bittersweet chocolate, French oak, chocolate and licorice are all generous in this powerful, voluptuous wine. The 2015 is not especially subtle, but it will please readers who enjoy full-throttle Napa Valley reds.

A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc, the 2015 Proprietary Red Amulet is deep garnet-purple in color with a gorgeous crushed blackberries and black cherries nose, very vibrant and lifted with violets, menthol and red currants notes. The medium to full-bodied mouth is fine, fresh, elegant, long and layered with great harmony. A very classy wine. 300 cases were produced.
