The 2022 Syrah Sonoma County takes on a deep purple youthful hue with pink highlights. Offering notes of boysenberry, black pepper, violets, and rocky earth, on the palate it’s full-bodied, ripe in structure, and not lacking in length. It’s going to age well if given a chance, and I’d like to see it in another year. Drink 2025-2035.

The 2022 Syrah (Sonoma County) is a very serious appellation-level wine. Inky dark fruit, black pepper, lavender, sage and licorice infuse the 2022 with tremendous textural and flavor intensity. This heady, deep Syrah is so impressive. It can be enjoyed now or cellared. Superb.
