Score 90/100 · Drink 2016-2031, Robert Parker, Mar 2016
The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate (no Reserve was made) is outstanding. Loads of licorice as well as hints of barrique, charcoal, and blackcurrant are present in this wine, which has terrific fruit, beautiful purity, and a long, layered mouthfeel. Drink it over the next 10-15 years.

Score 95/100 · Drink 2017-2032, Antonio Galloni, Vinous, Jan 2015
The 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon is quite a bit more polished than the Claret, with floral overtones that give the wine its lift and aromatic complexity. There is no shortage of fruit or richness in this exuberant, generous Cabernet Sauvignon. Layers of red-fleshed fruit built to the effortless, voluptuous finish. This is one of the best California Cabernets readers will find for the money.
