2014 D.R. Stephens Cabernet Sauvignon Walther River Block

Another interesting wine is from Rutherford, the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Walther River Block. Slightly more expressive aromatically, but with similar notes of blackcurrants, licorice, incense and graphite. This wine shows a slightly more earthy terroir characteristic, full-bodied flavors, excellent purity and dense, rich fruit. It can be drunk now or cellared for 15 or more years.
