Score 91/100 · Drink 2017-2021, Lisa Perrotti-Brown MW, Wine Advocate, Mar 2017

Produced from 50% Pommard clone and 50% Dijon 115 clone, the 2014 Pinot Noir Hawk Hill Vineyard was fully destemmed and spent 22 months in French oak, 70% new. Medium ruby-purple in color, it has a wonderfully fruity nose of black cherries, black raspberries and mulberries with a baking spices undercurrent. It fills the mouth with plenty of juicy berry flavors, supported by a good amount of velvety tannins and just enough freshness, finishing long and spicy. This is one for those who love their Pinot decadently spicy and with tons of fruit! Only 100 cases were made.
