Score 90/100 · Drink 2021-2031, Jeb Dunnuck, Aug 2021

The 2017 Nothing If Not A Game also has a touch of rusticity in its aromas and offers a meaty, savory nose of black fruits, roasted herbs, iron, and licorice. As with the Tell Me A Tale, though, it has wonderful elegance and purity on the palate and blossoms with time in the glass. Based on Petite Sirah and Petit Verdot that was all destemmed, it’s another singular, exotic wine from this estate. It too should keep for at least a decade.
