There is not much subtlety here - none, to be honest - and yet all the elements are so well put together. This exuberant Cabernet delivers the goods.

Composed from both Yountville and Calistoga fruit and made in a more age-worthy style, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon is a step up in quality, offering impressive levels of cassis fruit as well as tobacco, lead pencil, and graphite-like nuances. It's medium to full-bodied, concentrated, and dense, yet also elegant and seamless. A brilliant wine, it will benefit from a few years of bottle age and keep for 20+.
