Tasting notes
The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Platinum is solid, offering a medium-bodied, elegant, attractive style as well as plenty of ripe dark fruits, cedarwood, and leafy herbs. It’s nicely balanced, shows the vintage’s more narrow, mid-weight style, yet has ripe, polished tannins and impressive length on the finish. It’s ideal for enjoying over the coming 10-12 years.

Blackberry, bramble, black-tea, cocoa and dried rose-petal aromas. It’s medium-bodied with firm, tightly knit tannins. Fresh with a mineral, tea-like finish. Drink from 2023.
The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Platinum is composed of 98% Cabernet Sauvignon, 1% Merlot and 1% Petit Verdot. It was aged for 20 months in oak, 82% French, 8% Hungarian and 10% American. Deep garnet-purple in color, it reveals seductive notes of preserved plums, blackcurrant cordial, tilled earth, tobacco and asphalt with a hint of pencil lead. Soft and juicy, the full-bodied palate is straight-up delicious with appealing freshness and a spicy kick to the finish. 2,700 cases were made.
