Score 92/100 · Stephen Tanzer, Vinous, May 2010
Full yellow. Stone fruits, lemon drop, lime and minerals on the nose, perked up by a note of nutmeg. At once sweet and brisk, with lovely acidity framing the flavors of peach, citrus peel, flowers and minerals. Has the intensity of material to wear its 100% new oak gracefully. Carrying a low 3.25 pH and moderate alcohol of 13.5%. This is Thomas Brown's second vintage from these vines (Clone 4, from Burgundy), which were planted in 1990.
