The 2021 Syrah is remarkably pretty, blending raspberries with cedar, sage and lavender nuances. This displays a lovely balance, cool-toned and soothingly round with ripe red and black fruits, hints of clove and a core of tantalizing acidity that maintains freshness. Dark floral notes resonate, as the 2021 finishes pleasantly chewy with long-lasting subtle tannins.
Bright blackberries, hints of cassis, minty herbs, and sage are just some of the nuances in the 2021 Syrah, a medium to full-bodied Syrah that has good mid-palate density, some nicely integrated oak, and ripe yet certainly present tannins. It’s impeccably made, balanced, and has a great finish.
