The 2018 Pinot Noir Marine Layer is more fruit-forward, with beautiful spicy, floral, and forest notes as well as a core of wild strawberry and black cherry fruits. With medium-bodied richness, a supple, elegant texture, bright acidity, and a clean finish, it's more approachable than the Whistler Vineyard yet I think will still benefit from short-term cellaring. It's another beautiful wine from this estate.
