Tasting notes
The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Kith & Kin is a blend of 83% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Petit Verdot and 5% Petite Sirah. This is another winner, and a great buy at $30. Deep ruby/purple, sweet crème de cassis and blackberry fruit, a nice, lush, fat palate and loads of glycerin make for a savory, hedonistic style of wine to drink over the next 5-7 years.

83% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Petit Verdot, 5% Petite Sirah. Almost opaque. Bold, perfumed, accessible style. Intense and bright blackberry, plum, bramble, sweet cream and a fresh grassy aroma. Full bodied, somewhat astringent but fine-grained tannins will resolve with time. Elegant, balanced, very long pleasant finish. Forward in youth but with a bit of time will have beautiful restraint. Impressive. (MD)
