Tasting notes
Slightly more expensive, the 2017 Chardonnay Campbell Ranch comes from a site on the Sonoma Coast and was fermented and aged 15 months in 10% new French oak. As with the Chardonnay Plural, it has a slightly cloudy color (I doubt it was filtered) and a solid nose of honeyed peach, spiced orange, and brioche to go with a medium-bodied, nicely textured, balanced style on the palate. It's well done and should keep for 3-4 years as well.

The 2017 Chardonnay Campbell Ranch is bright, focused and taut, with terrific balance of brightness and textural depth. Lemon peel, white pepper, mint and a touch of new oak all meld together in a classy, polished Chardonnay that hits all the right notes. The 2017 is such a classy wine.
